This ongoing series of collages, although extremely time-consuming and challenging, are very satisfying when everything matches up.

 

To produce them, I collect figures from Playboy and Playgirl magazines.  These are then glued into environments from Better Homes and Gardens and Architectural Digest.  The figures are then dressed in clothes from Vogue and GQ.  

 

The resulting images are culled from everything we desire (beauty, wealth, fashion) yet, when combined, generate very mundane and pedestrian environments.  To me, that is funny.
